I have this translation of the words above in my song files, I don't know the source.

"Oh love of my heart,
We'll wander apart,
The dew on our path we'll be brushing,
Where the trout in the stream,
All speckled doth gleam,
And the deer through the green woods are rushing.
The little birds' song,
As we wander along
And the blackbird's loud call will cheer us,
And the cuckoo's clear note,
From the yew-tree float
And no shadow of death can come near us."
