GUEST,Two of a Hind The Day of the Tradiators (Wales) (34) RE: The Day of the Tradiators (Wales) 29 Mar 10

Dear all who made us feel so welcome and part of this endeavour to promote traitional music in Wales. It was great to meet so many people that were only names on paper before, Dave Parsons, Joy, Sian, Cas the Boys from Loughor folk club the Pontardawe team and others who's names escape at this moment. Sian many thanks for the bacon butty it was much appreciated. Not forgetting Blanche who did an excellent job co-ordinating the day.
Right, where do we go from here, as you now know there are informal agreements between some of the clubs already regarding booking and discounted tickets for our members who visit other clubs, can this be co-ordinated even further offering more benefits to all our members, can Trac set up sheet music on your website of common tunes and songs, fidel ffadel, march of the men of devon, Mychynlleth, Alan y mor and so on and other that you wish to promote. Is it possible to organise concerts/dances various areas in conjunction with local groups that could financialy benefit from them (best kept village committee) that could attract their own membership or following, allowing us to highjack them at some stage by letting them know where there local club or dance is, discount block booking trough trac for festival tickets. Subsidised workshops to the membership of affiliated clubs.

Do not go gently into that good night

Enough of my thoughts, thank you all, lets do it again.

Terry & Ann
