"I'VE felt those winds from The Great White North!" Hi, Rapaire. In the last few years I have been reading books about weather, trying to understand tornadoes. Now, all my life I have blamed Canada for the cold weather that descends on the Midwest, but apparently it comes from somewhere else. It spins down out of the northwest, from a semi-permanent feature called the Aleutian Low. Too bad we can't blame the Canadians anymore. They are getting dangerously cocksure.
