He played in Bristol last week (at St George's) at a 40th anniversary concert, and the line-up included Keith Warmington on harmonica, who appeared on his very first album on the Village Thing label in 1971 ! Most of Steve's family also appeared (including daughter Martha who had rushed from a gig in Cheltenham), also Wizz Jones, ex-partner Maggie Boyle, American guitarist Brooks Williams, Chris Parkinson (accordion) and Hugh Bradley (double bass). The "Evening Post" reviewer gave it 8 out of 10 !
