Had fun once when we had problems with a fridge freezer. Switched it off, sussed what was wrong, swtched it back on and went through to tell my wife that I could fix it. It needed a new part. we went through to the kitchen and I said it's this bit here, touching it. Ended at the other side of the room resulting in a ban from ever doing anything electrcal again. Similar misfortune with a ladder lead to ban from using them.
