I too have enjoyed WFF for many years as a paying attendee and a a musician, in various guises - and at many other festivals.
To a non performer, this may seem picky( but it is not). In the theatre, there was not even one steward to look after back stage and given that it was so hot, there was not even any bottled water provided for artists and more so, there was initial resistance from stewards to provide any. Now we are not talking prima donnas here - but a little attention to providing for artists would go a long way. Many other festivals provide so much more for artists - I do not crave that but just expecting water is not asking too much, surely - would organisers like to comment?
