It's a much bigger problem from where I sit. We lost our most powerful machine in the crash last month, and are very near to 100% capacity without her. Watching my resource monitor lately gives me the same feeling as when my kids are sick. I know, I'm a giant nerd... you have no idea... Been trying to reallocate resources, but haven't been able to make a dent. We're maxed out. I ordered a little hardware to get our whole database into RAM which should speed things up a great deal. Couple of days and she'll be snappy. I'm holding off on the purchase of a new server, for now, because mudcat 2.0 is on the horizon and relies on a completely, and I mean 100%, different schema than we have now. Strengthening the current infrastructure may not serve the next. Whole lot of action here at the cabin of solitude --the physical home of mudcat.org, Max, Merle and the monkeys. Wish I could fill you in on what's to come, but it has been shown that you can't be trusted. :) ...exciting times ahead to be sure.
