I've read so many threads here about the finer points of every brand of guitar, and even bought a Martin partly based on some Mudcat advice. My question is though, can a different brand actually make someone a better player? I don't mean going from a cheap guitar to an expensive one, but if someone plays well or badly on a Martin or a Taylor will they play at the same level on a Gibson or Takoma? Am I making any sense at all? marty D
