Could anyone suggest some good (hopefully cheap) cd's of folk music... maybe a sampler, or someone who plays a a lot of traditionals (not contemporary folk). I'm looking to expand what I can play live.

I posted a bit earlier but didn't explain myself well. The midi files that come through this site aren't easy for me to interpret, I need to be able to hear at least a sung verse and chorus. Maybe there's some folk history book that comes with a couple cd samplers or something? (i'm hoping).

Does this sort of thing exist? do you know of anything like it?

thanks for your time

Drew
