Hello Tim :) as far as the buses go there don't seem to be any going into Roxby village that I've found yet. The nearest stop seems to be near The Grapes/ Roxby Lane end on the main A171 near Scaling Dam. The Arriva 93, X93 runs on that route but it's a fair walk down a country lane from the bus stop to the Fox. The Arriva 5, 5a, 5b (also an X5) runs on the A174 coast road with the bus stop at Staithes Lane end, that's just a short walk on a footpath along Staithes Lane towards the old part of the village to get to the Captain Cook.
