Whoa, GUEST,sturgeon! You're making a HUGE assumption there! I have no intention of breaking copyright. Making money from copyrighted music myself, I have no intention of breaking anyone else's copyright. I know how annoying it is when folks steal MY music!

I am also an educationalist, and among the tripe on YT there is also a great deal of valuable educational material. Rather than go back later (sometimes months or years later) and find an excellent video has been taken down, I'd much rather save for my workshops and lessons. Nothing I save is infringing copyright.

Any musical performances I put on YT, anyone is free to watch, listen and, if they wish, download. I expect some may do the latter. After all, I put them there. It would be nice if they also bought the albums.

I didn't need to explain myself, of course. But I don't like false accusations or assumptions. No more than you do, probably.
