I realize this thread is pretty 'old' but worth a try. Gladys, did you ever find sheet music for this tune? I play with the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers and I cannot stand the version of the song they play. If someone has a good copy of the song (reasonable audio without too much scratch in the tune) I can work it out by ear and try and wrote out the score. I play by ear but can read/write music. I actually picked the tune up at a dance a while ago but we played it so early in the night I forgot it by the time we got home. I would LOVE to play it as Graham plays it! email: amanda.donald@gmail.com if it is still possible to get a copy of the tune that would be very helpful?!?!
