For our TMLHA singing group in Norfolk VA, we rate the music by the following criteria: G- General Audience R- Rowdy Audience X- Extremely Rowdy Audience ("Hog Eye Man" fits this one) WRT not offending, we performed some "G" rated songs for a youth group at the Mariner's Museum about six months back, and one mom was unhappy that we mentioned grog and tobacco. It's kinda hard to find any sailor's music that doesn't mention them! Ah, well...
