From sad experience, I can confidently state that getting reviews for a book on folklore is a wearying process. Be prepared to send out a bunch of free copies to magazines, then be prepared to wait, and to make lots of follow-up phone calls and E-mails. I've had to wait over a year for a review of a book that both the reviewer and I felt was an important work.
