In recent times (2-3 months??) I get an unrequested and unwanted task-bar at the top of the screen. From the Left, there's an icon of the browser (right now it's SeaMonkey, but it can alternatively be set to one of the two other browsers on my computer) Then to the right of that is an input slot with the words Search the web. Then at the right end are four icons, for Facebook, Wikipedia, YouTube, and Amazon.

I never use this bar, and it's often in the way of the minimize, maximize, and exit buttons that fall on that first line.

I don't know how I got it, though I know I never knowingly requested it. It's a pain in the neck, and takes up screen space. I have not discovered how to remove it, if it is even possible to be removed.

Can anyone help me delete or minimize this thing?

Dave O.
