I first met Ron in the early 70s, when I started going to the Stockton Folk Club. He used to sing with the Fettlers there. I eventually moved out of the area and only started returning there a few years ago. I was learning storytelling and Ron was very encouraging. The funeral service today was touching and there was some good singing afterwards at the Dorman's Club.   RIP Ron.
