Jack's quite right - if you use PRE it shouldn't add spaces and should use a monospace font. (Though technically neither is mandatory - the spec says 'may' for both.) The problem seems to be the way mudcat adds these <BR> tags with spaces after them. I don't know why it does that. (And I think they're invalid anyway in xhtml strict - they should be <BR /> though I doubt if any browser minds.) My last post shows monospace on both my Android tablet and my wife's iPad - I don't know if that has courier. Mine is in san-serif like the rest of the site, which is my default font in Firefox for Android.

By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.

By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.

Try it all, you will see.
