A little Friday morning nonsense...W.S. Gilbert of Gilbert & Sullivan fame, so the story goes, hated the Limerick verse form & wrote the following in protest:

"There was a young man from St. Bees
Who was stung on the arm by a wasp.
When asked: "Does it hurt?"
He replied: "No it doesn't'
I'm so glad that it wasn't a hornet".
