First off, I think the use of the word "terrorist" is way overused to give way too much press to any old nutjob or jobs who just want to kill people and make the news. Having said that, lookie over here: The Gunning of America: Business and the Making of American Gun Culture by Pamela Haag (Author) She explains how the gun industry has driven the discussion under the convenient cover of the NRA. America's history and "love affair" with the gun was a series of brilliant PR campaigns by the gun industry over many decades going way back to the 1800s. Saul
