On a Guest nights we go around the room for the first 30/45 mins....then 40/45mins from our Guest....then break for a chat....and Brother Tom's Raffle!....then a few more songs from around the room....then finish with 40/45mins from our Guest.....we try to get around all those who want to have a sing/play....however, invariably on our Guest nights, that is not possible.....we do have on average three singarounds a month though.....and we always get around everyone who wants to do a bit on those nights....at least once!! With songs like: "The Worker's Song" (Handful Of Earth), "Pound A Week Rise", "Mother Jones", "One Miner's Life", "Strange Lover Is A Coalmine", "Poldark Rides Again", "I Am Coal", "Farewell Johnny Miner", "Ah Cud Hew"....we are really looking forward to welcoming Ed Pickford & Jim Sharp to The Welly Folk Club tonight.
