I've just posted a request 'in the other place'(!) for lyrics of 'Last Vango in Harris' - a song local to the Tarbert area of Harris composed when Sir Hereward the Ladwake, new owner of the Amhuinnsuidhe Castle and estate (1968-76) took exception to the public road passing by his front windows and proposed a bypass If anyone knows even a phrase or two, or someone who sings /sang it -- I'd really appreciate info! (tune is Chatanooga Choo Choo) first lines are: Pardon me boy, is this tehe Amhuinnsuidhe Bypass, is Sir Hereward in, I've heard a lot about him....
