It seems to me that exhaust emissions from automobiles are pretty good these days, but the rednecks in my area like to have big, stinky trucks. I hadn't heard of rolling coal - that explains a lot. The area east of Los Angeles used to make my eyes water certain times during the year, especially summer - and then it would be sparkling and beautiful in winter. This seems to have improved with the air quality laws of the last forty years, but maybe it's just that I haven't been in Pasadena during smog season lately. It sure is a beautiful city when there's no smog. -Joe-
