"Public Computers" pretty much defeat the purpose as far as coronaviruse closures & quarentines go, don't they, Joe? How are people supposed to access them?

Re "Obamaphones" see
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/phone-home/

And can you tell us how many of the 39 million U.S. folks at or below the poverty level, ands especially the 18 million in deep poverty (less than half the poverty threshold) have such "access" of phones?

Then, as I think I mentioned, there's more people in the world than those living in the good old U. S. of A.

Best,

Greg

You're trolling, Greg. That's enough. I've worked with homeless people regularly since 1999. Most have free or low-cost cell phone service, through programs that have been available since 1984, long before Obama. Many had smartphones before I got one myself - they need them. And yes, people call them Obamaphones. And yes, there are free computers available to homeless people in many locations, and these resources are not being shut down by the pandemic. And yes, there are similar programs in other parts of the world. End of argument. Don't distract from the topic of discussion by trying to pick a fight.
