Final Ascent - The Legend of Hamish MacInnes is on BBC Scotland channel this evening at 22.00 - an amazing documentary about this legendary climber who in his later years was misdiagnosed and found himself in a locked hospital ward - this elderly climber escaped. climbed onto the roof - --! Was eventually saved when a fellow climber and para medic realised he had been misdiagnosed - excellent film. I'm off to watch it NOW!
