I'm making preparations to take a farewell trip
Just longing for the summons to board the home-bound ship

A blood-bought pardon for my sins, praise God I know it's real

I'm going, going to my home up in the sky

That God I got the blessing, I'm on my journey home

There's a lot of joy in traveling from the earth up to the sky
There's joy in singing, shouting and sometimes we cry
I've had a taste of Heaven, thank God I know it's true
There's not a doubt, they're driven out, it thrills me through and through

I'm watching Heaven's time clock to bring my Savior back
I may be only living in just a little shack
I'll go up in the rapture, I know my fair is paid
