I believe a parody is counted as an original composition so the text is fine. However if the tune is as one presumes the same, we would need permission to record that, and presumably you singing it. Regarding localised placenames in Sheffield, that's all fine too. If any explanation is needed that comes in the provenance notes. Once you or s.o.e. has got permission to use the tune from John, unless of course it's a traditional tune, which I don't think it is.(then we'll need to get it recorded). The verse tune is quite close to one of those tunes used for 'The Dolphin' with a different rhythm.
