Nearly everyone in our village has a dog. Most of them have at least two, many very large breeds. It's lovely to see them being walked down to the river or the woodland paths. I've noticed that their owners now carry a big water bottle and a plastic dish. Apparently the poor dogs get so hot they pant and have to lie down, so water is given.
How could anyone be so ignorant and cruel to leave a dog in a car in the heat? I reckon I'd smash the car window to save its life. The Police apparently accept this is necessary and do not prosecute.
