Re the age of folk at sessions. I must admit our early Friday night session was for a while attracting a lot of youngsters. Teenagers even. A few of us, including myself, had kids that age and they brought their mates along. When youngsters are going then it attracts more youngsters. A big thing was it was held in a non licensed premises. Folks brought their own drinks along but the place was non licenses - so there was no bar to youngsters turning up. Then it closed and we reverted to a licensed premises and we lost most of them at one fell swoop. Others still came along but when they left school most went to uni in the cities so again we lost them and never replaced them. So the club is still healthy but the average age is again much older than it was for a period.
