in my opinion, using automation to replace people so private rail companies can make an increased profit and then the state has to provide unemployment money, is a foolish capitalist policy. When i use rail,particularly late at night i want someone at the ticket office for security and because as a customer i want to make enquiries and use cash or have the choice of cash or card, it is called customer service. replacing people with machines is treating me as a second class citizen.
