Hello, I was looking into the works of Pat Conte. I know he did some cool compilation work and had a briefly running radio show with WFMU covering 78 rpm records called Secret Museum of the Air (which I still haven't listened to yet, hopefully will later this month). He was in Major Contay & The Canebrake Rattlers, and one of their albums, Old Familiar Tunes, is readily accessible online. As for the other albums though... Searching Major Contay and the Canebrake Rattlers - Songs Of The Hills And Plains with the album name in quotes gives only two hits on Google and reverse searching the album art from one of them gives one other hit which led no where. There are more hits for their other album, When The Yankees Came Down. Anyone here familiar with these albums? It always feels weird to see an album and think I might go to my grave never hearing it, haha. The absolute dream would be to find mp3s of either of these albums, but even just hearing some more about them would be neat! Thank you all, Teefy
