Chatbot has it half-right, but as usual misses the point. Officially-sanctioned music has to toe the official line; folksingers can sing what the folk they like, though I'm extremely aware that that wasn't always the case. Rugby songs would be contraindicated in a funeral service, but might well be fine in the wake afterwards. Context is all, as in Chatbot's usage of "taboo" (which methinks is the correct jargon term amongst linguists).
