I didn't realise that the tune used by The Pogues for The Limerick Rake is the same tune as Ó cad é sin don té sin. A few years ago I commented to an Irish friend in a music session about how much I love the tune, but don't really like the lyrics sung by The Pogues and he very kindly gave me some CD's by Tale of the Gael, and one of the tracks is Ó cad é sin don té sin.
