I saw her when she was promoting "Sweet Forgiveness" and
Sippie Wallace shared part of the set with her and her band.

Just recently found out about how
her brother needed care for eight years while dying of brain cancer,
which had its effect on her schedule at the time.

Really love the song "Just Like That," and
it's grand that it won Song of the Year.

With the recent death of Jimmy Carter,
I was thinking of other celebrities who are ardent activists,
and Bonnie Raitt is certainly one of them.
I'm thankful that she is still with us in spite of everything.
And I'm sorry that her current tour won't bring her anywhere nearby.
