Not being Cree enough? More like, not being Cree at all - and accepting awards that were meant for actual Indigenous people. I have nothing against Buffy; in fact, I've always admired her work. I don't hold it against her that she created a fake identity - but in accepting those awards and emoluments, she took it too far, and now she's paying the price.
