My father Bill McVicar's version had a very Scots line: In the very next street there lived a human wreckium, Glory hallelujah, oh rogerum. He wore a hooker-doon [a flat bunnet with a button to anchor the peak, I think] and a graubit [scarf] roon his neckium, Glory hallelujah, oh rogerum Chorus Oh rogerum, oh rogerum Skinny malinky doodlum Doon behind Jerusalum Glory hallelujah, oh rogerum.
