I was just trying to look up the lyrics to "No More Beer From Kendal" and came across this thread. As Ed Trickett used to say: "I learned this song from an old recording of mine".

For completeness: the last line in the penultimate verse, printed above, should read:

"From Workington to Boston Stump". (Boston Stump refers to the tower of St. Botolph's Church in Boston, Lincolnshire.)
