To bring this thread up to date somewhat, the 'no more' part is redundant due to there being beer made in Kendal once again. The brewers of the new batch having heard Dave's song, informed him it was out of date and asked him write a new song, which he did, (damned if I can remember what it's called though) and he was paid for the new song in beer; of course.
