Aside from the great music, John was a great guy to work with and to have around. The concerts that he did at the Golem, the folk club that I ran in Montreal in the '70s and '80s, are a treasured memory. I'll have a tribute to John on this Thursday's edition of Folk Roots/Folk Branches. Mike Regenstreif
