Much as Caroline and I appreciate the kind thoughts and generous words from Animaterra, Joe (who has suddenly become more than just a name on our mailing list!), and Karen, I do think we ought to consider the purposes of this forum. It is not being made available to us as an advertising medium for Folk-Legacy, although we are certainly grateful for your efforts on our behalf.

If we plug Folk-Legacy here, let us also mention Wally's wonderful Camsco Music site, Smithsonian-Folkways, Yazoo, Rounder, and all of the others who are working to keep good music alive and well. None of us are getting rich off of the effort (ask Wally!), and we do need your support, but not at the expense of this forum.

So, let me say "thanks," before Dick or Susan holler "Hold! Enough!" as they, quite appropriately, should do.

Talk about the artists we have recorded, sure. Talk about the songs on our label, fine. But let's be cool about the rest. Okay?
