No shit, Sherlock. We've been living the good life at the expense of people all over the world, ignoring the implications of keeping Palestinians in scummy refugee camps for 50 years, and generally acting as if there are no interests except our own. What a surprise that they really don't like us! The only way out of this is to somehow make the Israelis and Palestinians negotiate like they mean it until both sides have given up enough to make the other guys happy, and the Palestinians have somewhere to call home. Then somebody else has got to enforce the terms on both of them. The trouble has been that every time a leader looks like he might really want to make peace, some idiot fanatic assasinates him.
