Kim, even if your mom was (or is) distant, you can still learn much from her.....how not to be that way. That is what I learned from my mom. It has been a life lesson for me to overcome my mom's unmommylike nature. I figure its made me more loving because I can appreciate the importance of what I was not given. Little Neo
