I am sorry to hear your news. My father was diagnosed with bowel cancer, it was treated successfully and he lived a full and happy life for five years before it returned. He died a year later. My mother, also, found that the NHS, MacMillan nurses (and the Benefits Agency) very supportive.

Our only regret is that he never got round to recording all the songs he had written over the years. We have the lyrics (but no tunes) to some; and scraps of our own memories for the rest.
