Hope and the spiritual component of treatment are always important in working with cancer. If you are in the U.S., there are cancer treatment centers that work with a whole range of complementary approaches, combining medical treatments with imaging and other adjunct therapies.

Hospice is another service to consider. There are hospice houses that provide in-house patient care, but you can also get services in the home. Hospice nurses are dedicated to providing the best quality of life to patients, and are particularly oriented to pain management and interaction with the families.
