I heard this song on a tape someone recorded a while back. I like the song and know the lyrics but I don't know who sings it. I believe it is a blues song from the 60-70's era. Some of the lyrics are: " It ain't no use for you to cry You might as well dry your eyes You done me wrong, now you wanna come back home But it ain't no use There was a time when you were my pride and joy Woman I loved you like a child loves his toy You done me wrong, now you wanna come back home But it's too late, it's just too late I wanted you, you wanted someone else You went away and left me, left me all by my left me all by myself) No need to cry for your mistakes I want you to know that it's just too late You done me wrong now you wanna come back home but it's too late" In the beginning of the song there's a couple of minutes of blues-type music playing and a man talking to a woman about fixing her a drink. Then his old girlfriend knocks on the door named Ethel trying to beg him to come back but he tells her it's too late, he's got somebody else.
I hope someone knows who sings this song because I really love the song and want to find other music by this person.
