How about great lines--some of which may also be in the corny listings--the witty and moving stuff that opened worlds for you? One of my favorites: The Grapes of Wrath, when they ask John Carradine what he did to tick off the cops: "I talked back." And in Spartacus, when Peter Ustinov asks Charles Laughton to go with him, "To make sure I don't misuse the money?" Laughton responds, "Don't be ridiculous. I'm a Senator."
