Susanne (skw): Well thanks again. I've been thinkin' about joining; but to be honest, I'm a wee bit intimidated by the vast folkie erudition of the folkie-folks here. You're all so nice; but you all KNOW so damn much! (Schleswig-Holstein Folk Association, to be sure to be sure!) Me, I don't know from the northern tip of Da Bronx.(Well OK, I guess I do---it's Riverdale--- but I just wanted to use dat definite article "da". Duh.) Oh, I'm familiar with (and love) a certain slice of the material; but outside of that, I get a little lost. Then again, quite a few Regulars here seem to share my Irish/Celtic obsession AHEM nowait I mean, cultural orientation; and I do like to learn new stuff, too. Well I'll mull it some more. Appreciate your encouragement. Ohyeah---Full Disclosure Dept: my only "instrument" is the tin whistle. Disqualified?? (I'd mention I play it badly too, but that's redundant; hee hee) And as to "Mudkitten": glad you like the term, but at 54-come-Valentine's-Day, it feels kinda funny on me. (On the other paw: "Mew! Mew!") -- Joe in Connecticut
