What a howl!! We have two dogs and five cats. I started reading your dog haiku to my kids this mornin' while they were having their breakfast. They cracked up! Unfortunately, my son had not quite swallowed a swig of milk during one of the more bodily-function oriented haikus, and well, you guessed.... Abby (the bigger dog) strolled over and jumped on my lap while I was reading, obviously interested in hearing more poetry that she could relate to. At the end of the poetry reading, my son asked if he could finish his milk now? Thanks for a fun moment!
