Dear Dick, as ever we are all grateful for your labours. Two suggestions to make some money, both however off net (or way off base). I don't know how anyone is going to make any real money on the net. (1) Why not do a Rise Up Singing supplement or complement using the database? They must be making money -- why not you? I appreciate that they went through a ton of work, but it would be easier to get money for assistance the second time around. (2) I can't be the only person who finds all the background stories about the songs fascinating. How about packaging the tunes and the stories (see Joe Bob Tinsely for details)? You could post in sequence let us say 200 songs, and ask people to submit stories about how they came to be written, the real story, etc. You could then edit it and publish it. yours, Peter.
