Just to add, this is their little blurb on their website: June 6 - June 9, 2002 23rd Annual Sea Music Festival Mystic Seaport presents the 23rd Annual Sea Music Festival. This internationally-recognized festival includes concerts, workshops, pub sings and more, and features a selection of world-renowned performers of traditional and contemporary sea music. This year the festival will feature Martin Carthy (England), Finest Kind (Canada), Danny and Joyce McLeod (England), Jeff Warner, Louis Killen, Debra Cowan, Mystic Seaport Chantey Singers, The Paddy Westers, Bob Walser, Bob Webb, Ellen Cohn, Mustard's Retreat, Warp 4 (Ireland), The Ancient Mariners Chanteymen, and Mystic Seaport's traveling ambassadors, Forebitter. Concerts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening will begin at 7:00 pm at the Mystic Seaport's boat shed on Lighthouse Point. There will be a Symposium on Music of the Sea, on Saturday morning, and workshops on the museum grounds and aboard our tall ships throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
