Metric by stealth - give me a break. You guys are 150 years behind your own history. As I posted here, about a year ago, the USA should have been totally metric since 1866. In that year the US, by act of Congress, passed a law making legal the metre, the only measure of length that has been legalised by the US Gov't. The United States prototype metres numbers 21 & 27 were received from the International Bureau of Weights & Measures in 1889. Metre No.27, sealed in it's metal case, is preserved in a fireproof vault, at the Bureau of Standards. So, next time you go to court for speeding, and the prosecutor reads out your speed in MPH, you can have it chucked out on a technicality - it should be in kilometres per hour. And it's much more impressive having a 15 centimetre penis than a 6" one.
